The next time you’re in the mood for pizza, and you’re on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, check out the West Side Pizza in Tahoma, California. 

West Side Pizza is located at 7000 West Lake Blvd., in Tahoma, California, (approximately 8 ½ miles south of the “Y” in Tahoe City on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe) next door to the Tahoma U.S. Post Office. 

You’ll find their menu has appetizers, salads, and pizza.  We normally call in our order and pick it up to go and it’s ready in less than 30 minutes.  I’d love to tell you we’re adventurous, but we tend to order the same things each time.  Two antipasto salads with extra dressing, an order of artichoke-spinach brochette, and a large ½ carnivore ½ quarto cheese pizza.  The salad and brochette make a nice meal for one if don’t what a whole pizza.

The 66^th Annual Independence Day Celebration is in jeopardy.  Without your support this year’s celebration may not happen.  The goal is to raise $25,000 and as of 06/14/2012 less than $4,000 had been raised.  To donate check out www.TahoeCityFireworks.com, or check out the street dance fundraiser at the Bridgetender on Friday, June 22, 2012.  Your support is needed to make this years’ event happen.

This years’ Tahoe City Fireworks event will take place in downtown Tahoe City at Commons Beach.  The fireworks will take place over Lake Tahoe so you can watch from the beach, or bring your boat and watch the show on Lake Tahoe.  Don’t want to drive your own boat, watch the show from the Tahoe Gal.  The Tahoe Gal sells out each year, and tickets are limited so call now for reservations.
